This section contains a glossary of trems referenced in the Partnerflow Solution.
📄️ Workflow Instance
A Workflow Instance refers to single occurance of a Workflow Scenario, which typically results in the creation or modification of a single Parent Business Partner in SAP, with the option of also creating related "child" partner. For example, creating a Sold-to Customer with multiple Ship-to locations.
📄️ Task Instance
A Task corresponds to a specific Step in a WorkflowInstance and requires action by an individual.
📄️ Scenario
A Scenario encompasses a collection of steps, rules, and other configurations related to the operation of a workflow. These scenarios can be tailored to be either broad or finely detailed, depending on specific requirements.
📄️ Business Unit
A Business Unit corresponds to a set of organizations that are typically groups together during Partner creation. This field is defined during the creation of a workflow request, and it drives several other rules throughout the workflow.
📄️ Account Group
Each scenario in Partnerflow has a list of supported account groups. Account groups come directly from SAP, and they determine the general characteristics of the partner to be created/updated. Customers have their own definition for account groups, some examples can be:
📄️ Path
A Path identifies a set of Steps. It can be assigned to at two levels:
📄️ Step
A Step corresponds to a task that must be completed by a user, unless it has been conditionally skipped.
📄️ Persona
A Persona is a defined business role, with specific responsabilities, tasks and interests. It does not refer, per se, to an individual user or user group.
